Training for first aid for staff in educational institutions

Project “Risk reduction activities in kindergartens and elementary schools in Gevgelija, Kumanovo and Skopje” supported by UNICEF

Within the framework of the Program for Disaster Preparedness and Response, with the financial support of UNICEF, in November 2017, Macedonian Red Crossa started the implementation of a project aimed at preparing the educational staff for response in natural disasters in order to reduce the risks that kindergartens and elementary schools can face in Gevgelija, Kumanovo and Skopje “.

Within the second phase of the project, 3 trainings (in May / June) were organized together with the Local Red Cross branches Kumanovo, Gevgelija and City Red Cross of Skopje, for first first aid for representatives of 11 educational institutions that are supported by this project. On the trainings participated a total of 33 people who through interactive lectures and exercises learned life-saving skills. The participants on the training received certificates for completed first aid training for organizations.
