Training for “Disaster Response Emergency Fund”

In the period from 21 to 23 February, 2023, in Sarajevo, three representatives of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia successfully completed the training for Disaster Response Emergency Fund organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Through the training, the participants were introduced to the Fund as a financing mechanism that provides access to life – saving services for the affected population in times of disasters. The main purpose of the training was to strengthen the capacity of national societies, which facilitates and improves the process of accession to the Fund as well as reporting related to the implementation of the planned activities.
