TRAINING FOR TRAINERS FOR HEALTH CARE IN EMERGENCIES

A training for trainers on the topic “Emergency health care” funded by USAID and supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Regional Office for Europe was held in the Red Cross Training Centre Solferino in Struga In the period of 26 – 30, December 2021.

A total of 18 representatives of the Red Cross branches and the City Red Cross of Skopje participated in the training. The aim of the training was to strengthen the knowledge and skills for emergency health, community-based health and first aid, inter-agency coordination and providing technical expertise and support for emergency response of the Red Cross / CRC Skopje based on international standards. The participants in the training had the opportunity to develop an Emergency Plan of Action for health care, and to identify the necessary resources to implement the Emergency Plan of Action.
