Visit to the training of educators for prevention of human trafficking in the Red Cross of Serbia

During the period of 04-08.03.2011 In the hotel “Kristal” – Zlatibor, Serbia, , training of peer educators for prevention of human trafficking was held for volunteers from 5 Red Cross branches of Serbia. At the invitation of the Red Cross of Serbia, a delegation composed of Vladimir Vukelic, Aleksandra Valkanovska and Dime Karatashev, attended the training where they presented the approach applied by the Macedonian Red Cross in this program. The visit lasted from 5-6.03.2019 and during the visit the delegation attended the current sessions, and after their completion, a meeting was held with the coordinator of the program for prevention of human trafficking in the Red Cross of Serbia, Ms. Jelena Angelic. The manuals and tools used in the National Societies were shared and possible future exchanges of coaches and volunteers working on the topic were discussed. The members of the delegation of the Macedonian Red Cross and the host expressed strong pleasure from the visit and both national societies expressed their intention for future more intensive cooperation and possible joint activities on prevention of trafficking in human beings.
