26th National First Aid Competition

On September 16, 2017, the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia organized the 26th National First Aid Competition with the motto ˮ The Accidents in the Homes”.

The competition was held on the territory of the Municipality of Gazi Baba in several locations in the settlement Avtokomanda. The contest was attended by 22 teams of the Macedonian Red Cross Branches: Kumanovo, Bitola, Gazi Baba, Probistip, Cair, Kocani, Kicevo, Gostivar, Veles, Ohrid, Kisela Voda, Krusevo, Struga, Negotino, Karpos, Radovish, Valandovo, Vinica, Prilep, Kriva Palanka, Berovo, Center.

The President of the Macedonian Red Cross PhD. Romel Velev and the Mayor of the Municipality of Gazi Baba Mr. Toni Trajkovski addressed the opening ceremony, which also declared the 26th National First Aid Competition as oppened.

The first place in the competition was won by the first aid team of the Red Cross Branch Kisela Voda, second place was won by the first aid team of the Red Cross Branch Cair, third place belonged to the first aid team of the Red Cross Branch Kocani. A prize also won the team from the Red Cross Branch Kumanovo, who showed the best knowledge of the movement, vision and the Red Cross mission, as the best on the base for dissemination.

At the official closing ceremony of the National First Aid Competition, the President of the Organizing Committee of the National First Aid Competition, Dr. Burak Shabani, announced the ranking of the teams for first aid, and then the cups and medals for the most successful three teams, were distributed by the President of the Red Cross Branch Gazi Baba PhD. Petar Hristov, and the Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross PhD Sait Saiti who divided plaques for successful cooperation with the corporate sector.
