Campaign on the occasion of “Week for combating hunger”

This year as well the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia will take part in the global actions to combat hunger by organizing a campaign under the motto “Think of us too”, which will be organized in the period of 16 to 22 of October in frames of the “Week for combating hunger”. Humanitarian actions for providing donations in cash and food will be organized in cooperation with the chambers of commerce in the Republic of North Macedonia, companies, associations of citizens, and citizens.

Donations can be made on the account of the Solidarity Fund of the Red Cross at RNM 300000001327966 tax number: 4030984271620 AD Komercijalna Banka Skopje, as well as by payment of 100 denars by dialing the mobile phone numbers: 070/075/077 143 400. The donated funds from the humanitarian actions will be targeted for provision of food to support vulnerable target groups of the population in the communities.

With the campaign, as with many other humanitarian activities, the Red Cross contributes to the overall efforts undertaken in the country to reduce poverty and social exclusion of citizens.
