Cooperation between the Macedonian Red Cross and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue

Today, on 15.02.2018, the Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross, Mr. Sait Saiti, met with the Director of the Protection and Rescue Directorate, Mr. Adnan Dzaferoski, in the premises of the Macedonian Red Cross.

At the meeting were discussed the past successful cooperation between the Macedonian Red Cross and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, as well as the opportunities and activities that need to be undertaken for even more successful future cooperation between the two institutions. Namely, the Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross, Mr. Sait Saiti stressed the need for successful coordination with the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, as well as their full support in case of natural disasters, in order to alleviate and reduce the suffering of people affected by them by helping in the part for which the Macedonian Red Cross is ready to help.

At the meeting, it was concluded that working groups of the two institutions should be formed, which will cooperate and act together, thus paving the way for successful future cooperation between the Macedonian Red Cross and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.
