Final Conference within the project “Strengthening the resilience of the older people and persons with disabilities during COVID 19 and future disasters”

Within the Regional Project “Strengthening the Resilience of the older people and persons with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters”, funded by the European Union, a final Conference and partner meeting was held in the period from 03-05 April 2024 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. The project partners from the Republic of Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Republic of Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization, UNFPA, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection took part in the conference and partner meeting.

The Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia participated with two representatives of the HQ, responsible for the implementation of project activities. At the event, the achieved results of the implementation of the activities in the three-year period were presented. Appropriate information regarding active and healthy aging was shared by representatives of international organizations.
