International training for water and sanitation and hygiene promotion, Dojran 2017

In the period from 12-19.05.2017 Macedonian Red Cross in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross -Shtaer has organized training for water and sanitation and hygiene promotion in the center of the Red Cross in Dojran.

The training was attended by 26 participants and trainers of the Red Cross and 7 participants of the Austrian Red Cross. During the eight-days there was a training for operation of the station for water purification TWA6 along with laboratory testing of water, sanitation and training in hygiene promotion, water distribution and field assessments for the provision of water resources.

The training was conducted by experienced licensed instructors for purifying water from the Macedonian Red Cross and the Austrian Red Cross. All participants that have attended the training have gained certificates for qualified staff to work with the station for water purification.
