Marking the Month for fight against Addictions

The month of November, according to the calendar of traditional activities of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, is dedicated to the fight against addictions (drugs, alcohol and cigarettes). This year, the month of the fight against addictions will be marked under the motto “Get informed and make a decision!” For this purpose, the Red Cross branches and the City Red Cross of Skopje will organize peer education targeted for high school students, as well as panel discussions for young people with participation of eminent experts from social welfare centers, health institutions and/or organizations that deal with the issue. Also, in cooperation with catering facilities, flyers will be shared to raise awareness on the impact and consequences of alcohol on guests who will be found in cafes/cafes. The info material will also be shared on the social networks.
