Visit of a delegation of UNFPA

On June 11, 2021, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia was visited by a delegation of UNFPA. The delegation was headed by Mr. John F. Kennedy Mossotti, Director of the UN Population Fund UNFPA for the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was accompanied by, representatives of the UNFPA National Office in RNM, Aphrodita Shalja-Plavjanska and Jovanka Brajovic Grigorijevic. The delegation was received by the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM, PhD. Sait Saiti.

During the talks, Secretary General Saiti presented the work of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, the services provided by the national society in the country, the forms of financing and the key activities of the organization.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss topics of common interest, designing the new five-year cooperation, as well as the main priorities and challenges for the future.
