Peer education for young people on voluntary blood donation

Within the activities of the programme for promotion of blood donation, the Red Cross of RNM organized the second workshop for peer education for young people on voluntary blood donation. The workshop was held in Struga at the “Solferino” hotel.in the period of November 17-19, 2023.

The workshop was attended by 21 participants from the Red Cross branches of Gazi Baba, Karposh, Kisela Voda, Centar, Chair, Prilep, Ohrid, Veles, Shtip, Kumanovo, Gostivar and from the City Red Cross of Skopje.

During the workshop, a simulation exercise was organized – a blood donation drive. Roles were assigned to Red Cross volunteers during a blood drive, as blood donors and as a team members of the transfusion medicine service.
