Regional meeting of the Restoring Family Links Network

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) – Office Belgrade organized a regional meeting of the Tracing Service – Restoring Family Links in Belgrade, Serbia in the period of December 6 – 7, 2022. The participants of the meeting were RFL coordinators and representatives of the Red Cross from Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, as well as representatives of the ICRC delegations from Belgrade, BiH, Kosovo and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Several topics of interest were discussed at the meetings, such as mutual sharing of information on the latest situations in the countries represented at the meeting related to migrations and RFL services and activities related to the armed conflict in Ukraine, protection of personal data, RFL tools and platforms for communication, forensics, and transfer of experience to delegates and members of the working groups within the network.
