Social Responsibility Business Imperative and Global Idea
Today, on December 19, 2018, the Macedonian Red Cross organized the 9th Partnership Meeting in the premises of Best Western Tourist, Skopje. The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross, Phd. Sait Saiti, the councilor of the cabinet of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dusan Tosic and representatives of the corporate sector.
The partnership meeting was organized in order to promote the humanitarian values of the Macedonian Red Cross in order to encourage strategic partnerships to overcome the problems that the population in the communities faces.
The audience was addressed by the Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross Phd Sait Saiti, who pointed out that In recent years, the Red Cross organization has invested in building its own capacity in order to be able to respond to the demands of enterprises in the implementation of various community investment projects. A number of joint project activities have been implemented in cooperation and with support of companies in the country. What is particularly important is the support that the Red Cross enjoys from the top managers of companies that with their own contribution enable realization of partnership relations for implementation of joint initiatives of public interest. It is important to emphasize the fact that in the implementation of humanitarian activities, a lot of employees from the companies are taking active participation, which confirms their social responsibility.
The councilor of the Cabinet of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dusan Tosic welcomed this initiative,addressed the partnership meeting and called on the business sector to continue successfully to engage in the Macedonian Red Cross projects in order to improve community life.
Within the event, the Macedonian Red Cross awarded prizes, Platinum supporter to ProCredit Bank AD Skopje and Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje, Golden Supporter to Sparkasse Bank Macedonia AD Skopje, Bronze supporter to Veze Sharri DOO, a sign of gratitude for the support in the realization of humanitarian goals and tasks of the Macedonian Red Cross.
