Our citizens, as he emphasizes, have proved humanity through their actions in the past period and showed compassion with the population in Türkiye and Syria. Life is often filled with pain, sadness, dissatisfaction, difficulties and makes us think about whether there is a reason and how humane we can be. For a moment we must forget about ourselves and think of others. This is how we can understand the need what it means to be a good person. Good deeds and kindness are much closer to people than evil things, and therefore we must not believe that we live in an inhumane society. In the coming period, we continue to work on providing a more dignified life to those who need support.

The patron of the event was the Prime Minister of the Government of RNM, Mr. Dimitar Kovachevski, who emphasized that we continue to show our solidarity in action through the aid we provided to the affected areas from the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The good news is that we have raised over 960.000 euros so far and the target is to reach one million euros, emphasized Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski at today’s event on the occasion of the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, which this year is dedicated to humanity and solidarity with the affected population from the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria.

United in one heart, public institutions, the non-governmental sector, the business community, educational institutions, youth and adults, all helped the victims of the affected regions. We cannot bring back the lost lives, but we will work with all possible strength to heal the wounds of this natural disaster. We will rebuild again the destroyed cities and schools.
