Workshop on motivation and promotion of voluntary blood donation

Macedonian Red Cross and the Institute for Transfusion Medicine conducted workshop on motivation and promotion of voluntary blood donation among the Albanian population in Macedonia, in Struga in the period of 03-04.05.2019. Total of 25 young motivators from different background and staff employed in the Institute for Transfusion Medicine took part on the workshop.

The main objective of the workshop was education motivation and promotion of voluntary blood donation in the Republic of Macedonia, recruitment of young and first time blood donors and increasing the number of blood donors among the Albanian population.

The contents of the programme were presented on basis of principles for adult education: presentations, sharing of experiences, role plays, exercises and possibilities for active participation of the participants.
