Workshop on the financial operations of the Red Cross of RNM

In the period May 12-14, 2023, a workshop on financial operations of the Red Cross of the RNM was held at the “Solferino” Training and Recreation Center in Struga. The workshop aimed to analyze the existing practices in the organization, discuss challenges and identifying areas for improvement in the approach to financial operation.

Members of the Governing Board of the Red Cross of RNM, members of the Financial Commission of the Red Cross of RNM and desk officers from the central office participated in the workshop, who had the opportunity to discuss the aspects of planning, implementation and reporting within the financial operation of the organization. The training was supported by external expert, prof. Dejan Andonov from the Faculty of Communication. The participants also discussed the importance of transparent and accountable operation of the organization with a special emphasis on the financial operation.

The recommendations and conclusions from the workshop will be discussed at a meeting of the Governing Board of the Red Cross of RNM, where specific conclusions will be made for further steps for improvement in the operation.
