Academy for Disseminators of International Humanitarian Law

In frames of the program for the promotion of International Humanitarian Law and supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organizing the first Academy for disseminators of International Humanitarian Law in the period of 19 – 21 December, 2022. The academy was a basic three-day training on IHL, intended for students in the field of legal, security and military sciences.

The Academy was attended by 20 students who gained knowledge about the foundations, sources, application and violations of international humanitarian law, the Geneva and Hague conventions and the special protection of various groups at risk.

At the opening of the academy, the participants were addressed by Mr. Sait Saiti – Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia and Mr. Stevo Pendarovski – President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
