Continuous fruitful cooperation with Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje

The Macedonian Red Cross in cooperation with the Institute for Social welfare for ten years continuously implements joint initiatives for improving the socialization of children and youth with special needs.

Since 2011, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is a sponsor and our partner who is actively involved in the implementation of the project activities aimed at supporting children and youth with special needs. The bank’s satisfaction with the realization of the project activities and the trust towards the Macedonian Red Cross as a serious partner in the implementation of socially useful social programs was confirmed by signing the new sponsorship agreement and supporting the activities in 2018.

Within the framework of the project on February 20, 2018, the Macedonian Red Cross held an information meeting with representatives of the Red Cross branches Prilep, Kavadarci, Veles, Gostivar, Kicevo, Delcevo and Debar, the City Red Cross of Skopje, the day care centers for children with special needs and a representative of the Institute for Social welfare. The purpose of the meeting was to provide guidance for joint implementation of the activities for improving the socialization of children and youth with special needs. At the meeting also was announced the educational workshop that will be held from 9 to 11 March 2018 in the “Solferino” Center in Struga, in order to get the new involved Red Cross volunteers with appropriate skills and knowledge to support the children in the day care centers and children placed in foster care.
