The Humanitarian action continues

Macedonian Red Cross follows the situation and is in continuous communication and coordination with the state authorities on national and local level.

At today’s meeting of the Government Coordination body for prevention of natural disasters which was held in the Ministry of transport and communication, the Secretary general of Macedonian Red Cross, MA Sait Saiti presented the conducted field activities of Macedonian Red Cross.

Makedonija g-din Sait Saiti gi prezentirase sprovedenite terenski aktivnosti.   During the past day 28. 02. 2013 Macedonian Red Cross distributed the following assistance in:

  • Shtip  13 food parcels,13 hygiene parcels, 10 mattresses, 5 kitchen sets, 5 tarpaulins, 60 blankets,
  • in Strumica 1550 potable water, 200 blankets, 100 hygiene parcels, 40 food parcels,
  • in Valandovo 125 hygiene parcels, 400 blankets,
  • in Sveti Nikole 100 blankets and 125 hygiene parcels.

Macedonian Red Cross will continue to follow the situation and is in continuous communication and coordination with the state authorities on national and local level. Macedonian Red Cross branch teams are present on the field in the affected regions and together with the local authorities they are prepared to respond if needed.
