The European Network of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for psychosocial support

An annual meeting of the European Network of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for psychosocial support was held in Lozen, Bulgaria, from 26-28.10.2018.

Although the Macedonian Red Cross is not formally a member of this network it was possible to participate in the meeting with two representatives. 

Parallel with the meeting, also was held a regional meeting of the working team of the project “Psychological first aid and psychosocial support in emergency situations”, which is  implemented through the National Red Cross Societies from Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Austria, who later joined the network meeting.

During the meeting, experiences and practices were shared on the activities for psychosocial support from the participants, and special presentations on the latest tools and funding opportunities were provided by representatives from the Reference Center for Psychosocial Support to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Office for cooperation with the EU of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
