Meeting with USAID representatives

The Secretary General of the Red Cross of Republic of North Macedonia, PhD. Sait Saiti had a meeting with representatives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Ms. Don Carmin and Mr. John Patterson in the Head Office of the Red Cross of RNM on 12.08.2021.

The current crisis situation and the response provided by the Red Cross in the affected areas from the wild fires.

The representatives of USAID had the opportunity through photos and a short video, made by the Red Cross of RNM to see closely the damage caused by the fires in the past and the role and work of the Red Cross, volunteer engagement, distribution of humanitarian aid to the affected areas, and providing first aid.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as a partner of the Red Cross, monitors and will continue to monitor the situation and response in crisis management, giving its continued support to our country.
