Participation on Training of trainers for Health in Emergencies
From 5 to 7 October 2021 in Budapest, Hungary, the Regional Office for Europe of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies organized a training for trainers on health in emergencies. The training was organized within the project “Communication and Coordination Capacities for Effective Preparedness and Response in Southeast Europe”, funded by USAID.
Representatives of the Red Cross of RNM, Red Cross Serbia, Red Cross of Montenegro, Albanian Red Cross and Red Cross Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the training.
The main goal of the training was to strengthen the knowledge and skills of the national societies health personnel for health in emergencies and health consequences caused by disasters and crisis situations, even if to refresh the algorithms of emergency health action, preparation of Emergency Appeal / DREF in accordance with SPHERE standards.
The participants of this training received a certificate for Training of trainers for health emergencies, and thus will have the opportunity to further disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills to staff and volunteers in the national societies and thus strengthen the capacity of the national societies in the area of health in emergencies and crises.
