Public presentation of candidacy for President of the Red Cross of RNM

Pursuant to the Decision for elections at all organizational levels of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Plan of Action for election activities of the Red Cross of the RNM,

Prof. Dr. Romel Velev, candidate for the post of President of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia for the mandate period 2022 – 2026, had a public presentation of his candidacy in the premises of Hotel “Marriott” on 17.06.2022 at 18:00 o’clock.

The candidate presented his biography in a short video format with special reference to the experience and volunteer activities in the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia. He also presented his Plan of Action entitled “Platform for Change 2022 – 2026” which incorporated the future challenges, priorities and views regarding the development of the national society in the next four years, as well as the motivation for expressing candidacy for the post President of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia.

After the presentation, the floor was open for discussions and the present people asked questions regarding the ideas, ambitions and priorities of the candidate as well as his views regarding the organization.

The public presentation was attended by 100 people, including the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM Dr. Sait Saiti, presidents and members of the governing boards of the Red Cross branches / CRC Skopje, as well as volunteers, members, secretaries and the staff of the Red Cross branches / CRC Skopje and staff from the Red Cross of RNM Head Office.
