SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED ASSESSMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITIES IN THE RED CROSS BRANCH NEGOTINO

In the period from May 22-23, 2024, a Branch Organizational Capacity Assessment (BOCA) was conducted in the Red Cross Branch Negotino. A mixed team consisting of staff, members of the governing structure and volunteers of the organization, with the help of the three trained facilitators, went through a set of tools including a matrix with defined indicators, case studies for development of a Red Cross Branch, BOCA game for development of a Red Cross Branch and other exercises appropriate for this Red Cross branch adapted to the specifics of the organization. With the help of this instrument developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Red Cross Branch Negotino, in a structured way self-assessed its operation in 34 organizational areas, and determined its development level in context of these specific areas, and determined its development priorities for next year and prepared a plan with development activities of the red Cross Branch for the forthcoming 12 months.
