Tracing Service – Restoring Family Links Training

The Red Cross of RNM conducted a tracing service – restoring family links training for filed workers in the Solferino Education Center in Struga in the period October 14 to 16, 2022. The training was conducted within the Migrations project, supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent.

The training was attended by volunteers and staff from 19 Red Cross branches and CRC Skopje, who acquired basic knowledge about the work of the Tracing Service – RFL. The ultimate goal and result of this training is the establishment of the Tracing Service – RFL network from Tracing Service – RFL field workers in the national society.

The objectives of the training were to strengthen the knowledge and skills of the staff and volunteers in the RC branches/CRC Skopje for the operation and functioning of the Tracing Service – RFL, the capacities for field work, the available RFL services and work and contacts with beneficiaries / requesters; and establishment of internal RFL network in the National Society with RFL field staff.

Through this training, the participants acquired basic knowledge about International Humanitarian Law, the mandate of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the national society and the auxiliary role assigned by the state for implementation of activities RFL– Tracing Service.
