Visit of a delegation of the Turkish Crescent

On October 28, 2009, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia was visited by a five-member delegation of the Turkish Red Crescent.

The purpose of the visit is based on the current cooperation between the two National Societies, namely to express preparedness of the Turkish Red Crescent to provide humanitarian aid to the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Primary School in Kodzadzik Zupa in Debar.

During the visit, the representatives of the Turkish Red Crescent stated that they are donating 300 pairs of boots, 250 pairs of sneakers, 300 jackets and 300 sets of school supplies.

The Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia expressed gratitude for the cooperation and the unselfish efforts of the Turkish Red Crescent for providing humanitarian assistance to socially disadvantaged people.
