Visit of the Delegation of the Austrian Red Cross

Based on the strategic partnership between the Austrian Red Cross and the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, an official visit was made by the Austrian Red Cross in the period from 05 to 06.04.2022.

The representatives of the Austrian Delegation met with the Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia PhD. Sait Saiti to discuss topics for development of existing and new programs and activities of the national society, as well as future goals and expectations in frames of the successful cooperation between the two national societies.

In addition to the meeting with the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM, the representatives of the Austrian delegation met with the staff at the Head Office, and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the achieved results so far.

The representatives of the Austrian Red Cross also visited the Training Center at the Red Cross – Solferino in Struga, the new Care Center – Red Cross of the City of Skopje, the Contact Center for newly planned social services Emergency button and transport of beneficiaries, as well as the Operational Center for Disaster Response of the RCRNM.
