Humanitarian assistance 07.02.2015

During this day Macedonian Red Cross has conducted distribution of humanitarian relief in:

• Bitola 300 food parcels, 300 hygiene parcels, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 800 blankets.
• Prilep 50 food parcels, 50 hygiene parcels, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets.
• Shtip 50 food parcels, 50 hygiene parcels, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 80 blankets.
• Kochani 25 food parcels, 50 hygiene parcels, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets.
• Strumica 25 food parcels, 50 hygiene parcels, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets.

The spill of the river Zajashka in Kichevo endangered 70 families that were evacuated yesterday late at night. Macedonian Red Cross after the initial assessment of humanitarian needs has distributed humanitarian relief: 70 food parcels, 70 hygiene parcels, 150 blankets and drinking water.

Flooded area in Kichevo was visited by the Secretary General of Macedonian Red Cross Mr. Sait Saiti.

Following the spills of the channels in the community Banjeshnica-Gostivar flooded were 30 families and distributed were 30 food parcels,30 hygiene parcels and 60 blankets.

Through the mobile phone donations on T-mobile, One, VIP 070/075/077 143 400 until 07.02.2015 gathered were total of 4.683..500 denars, and at the Solidarity Fund account gathered were total of 741,987 denars.
