DISTRIBUTION OF HUMANITARIAN RELEIF TO THE AFFECTED POPULATION IN THE FLOODS IN TETOVO
Macedonian Red Cross today will execute second distribution of the humanitarian relief to the affected population in Tetovo region. The relief contains 200 food parcels, 150 hygiene parcels, 250 blankets and drinking water.
Until 25.08.2015 through the phone lines for donations from the three phone companies there were allocated 1.039.500 denars. At the Macedonian Red Cross “Solidarity fund” bank account there were allocated total of 1.646.403 denars. At this period for the Macedonian Red Cross humanitarian activities there were provided donations from different companies and individuals such as: Kozhuvchanka, Pivara AD Skopje, Mak Oil, Stopanska banka, Replek, Pro kredit banka, Makedonski telekom, Municipality Ohrid, Komfi Angel, Lyons club, Aneks, Promes, KAM Market, Macedonian post, Macedonian Football Federation, American embassy and others. Support was also provided from the Albanian Red Cross.
Macedonian Red Cross expresses its deepest gratitude towards all donors that have supported the humanitarian activities for the affected population in the floods in Tetovo region.
Activities are ongoing until 31.08.2015. Humanitarian donations containing hygiene products (disinfection units) can be delivered at the Red Cross warehouses in Momin Potok in Skopje working hours 08,00-16,00 (contact phone number : 02/3 096 227), and the warehouse in Tetovo str.„Fushanska“ (Contact phone number: 070 706 255).
