Macedonian Red Cross presented awards “Golden Medal” and “Bronze Supporter”
The awards “Golden Medal” and “Bronze Supporter” were presented as appreciation to the partners and contributors for the realized fruitful cooperation and support, on the official ceremony in Macedonian Red Cross which was held on December 12th 2013 at 11 o`clock.
Before the awarding ceremony, The Secretary General of the Macedonian Red Cross addressed to the guest and noted that:
“ As additional benefit from our work we succeeded to build institutional effectiveness, promoting new partnerships, improve advocacy and our humanitarian diplomacy through activities where we were seen, heard and present, to help the people in need. We improved our work by developing joint evaluations, consulting the satisfaction of the partners, evaluating the effects of our work by the users as well as promoting new forms for displaying joint activities with the companies. Simultaneously Red Cross worked on new approaches for stimulating the interest of the corporative sector for supporting our work.”
On behalf of the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Ance Trifunovski the state secretary of the ministry, also addressed and noted the important role of the Red Cross in improving the social responsibility in the companies from various fields.
As appreciation of the support which is provided by our partners for implementing community and social based projects and humanitarian activities, Macedonian Red Cross awarded the “Golden Medal” to Mr. Zivko Mukaetov, CEO of ALKALOID AD Skopje as appreciation of his personal contribution and support in achieving the goals and objectives of the Macedonian Red Cross, while the award “Bronze Supporter” was presented to ALFA BANKA, Makedonski Telekom, Pivara – AD Skopje and Sava Osiguruvanje as appreciation in achieving the humanitarian goals and objectives of the Red Cross
