Project: Take action for better competiveness on the labor market” funded by the European Union
The Macedonian Red cross in partnership with Skopje Craft Chamber are implementing the project “Take action for better competiveness on the labor market” funded by the European Union within Operational Program of Human Resources Development 2007-2013 (IPA Component IV). Overall value of the project is 180.322,02, and 9.016,6 EUR are contribution of the Macedonian Red Cross and Skopje Craft Chamber.
The aim of the project is to promote the conditions and possibilities for employment of the persons who are in social risk and the persons who are social-excluded on the labor market in order to reduce unemployment. The project is implemented through the Red Cross of Skopje in three municipalities of Kisela Voda, Gorce Petrov and Gazi Baba.
Project activities are focused on strengthening the capacity of 40 people at social risk which are long-term unemployed, for their personal growth and development, strengthening their skills and qualifications to be relieved integration in society and especially their access to the labor market. The project is expected to provide psycho – social services for their families as additional support in their efforts to employment.
Project activities will be supported by institutional cooperation between civil society and government institutions, the local authorities and business sector to ensure a coherent dialogue and raising awareness of the contribution to social inclusion of disadvantaged individuals, long-term unemployed in the labor market.
